Arkansas River flows are down, but you can still expect impressive whitewater today.
Currently:
Pine Creek/Numbers operates at 730 cubic feet per second.
Browns Canyon is at 843 CFS
And the royal throat is 955

Dan attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas from 1978 to 1982 (where he took the name Dan R after his fraternity brothers could not pronounce his last name), specializing in radio/television. Dan lived in Jonesboro for 10 years in radio, then was a TV weatherman for ABC affiliate KAIT Channel 8.
Television was a bit boring compared to radio, so Dan returned to hosting morning radio shows in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and then eventually Colorado.
Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently a member of the Salida Community Center Board of Directors and a member of the Chaffee County Fairground Committee.
Dan and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They raised 3 children together and have 2 grandchildren.
