“It’s my darling, it’s the whole world to me. I’m still in shock right now. I just can’t believe, incredulously, ”Barranco said.

Police told her Shaw’s boyfriend had been arrested for the murder of her daughter and another man. FOX affiliate KTVU in San Francisco reports that he falsely told police that an intruder broke into and shot his girlfriend.

Barranco says she met the boyfriend three years ago and also met her parents in July. She never thought something like this could happen.

“When I came here in July, we had dinner with his parents,” Barranco said. “They seem to really like Alice. They really love Alice, and she said my son really adores your daughter. She is so lovely.

Alice was born and raised in Hawaii and graduated from Damien Memorial School. Barranco says his daughter was a bright, outgoing woman who had such a bright future. She went to school in San Francisco and dreamed of becoming a lobbyist in Washington DC

“They were in Washington, so when she got home she said, you know mom, I can be a lobbyist,” Barranco said.

She is still looking for answers as to how it all happened and wants nothing more than to get justice for her daughter.
