CARLISLE — Melana Eyer scored a game-high 13 points to lead Altoona to a 40-22 road victory at Carlisle in high school girls’ basketball action on Friday.

The Lady Lions used strong first and fourth quarters to separate themselves from the Thundering Herd.

Miller leads the Tigers

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Marin Miller posted a season-high 26 points, including three 3-pointers, as Hollidaysburg went unchallenged in a 66-13 win over Philipsburg-Osceola.

Sydney Lear was the only other Lady Tiger to reach double figures as she finished with 11 points.

Hollidaysburg, which led 31-3 after the first quarter, went undefeated in 12 games.
