(RUTHERFORD COUNTY) Several upcoming parent meetings have been scheduled for those interested in learning more about school choice options in County Rutherford.
Homer Pittard Campus School, Central Magnet, Thurman Francis Arts Academy and Oakland High have announced the dates and times – which can be found below – for their respective meetings. Smyrna High and McFadden School of Excellence have confirmed virtual experiences for expectant parents.
Holloway High hosts an annual open house, where prospective students and their parents can meet with administrators, staff and faculty at the end of July. All students are required to participate in an individual interview with the principal before being admitted.
Each school has their own specific admission requirements – Campus School recently updated their admissions policy – which will be discussed in the respective meetings with each specific application process.
Principals encourage parents to follow the respective schools’ Twitter accounts for up-to-date information.
